It is with great regret that the Society announces the death of Dr Anthony Hobson. Dr Hobson (born 1921) was a former President of the Society (1977-1979) and was awarded the Society's Gold Medal in 1992. He passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 12 July.
The Working Group held a one-day Workshop at Senate House, London, on 26 February 2014 to prepare a draft Chapbooks Action Plan, for wider discussion. Further information about the Chapbooks Working Group the draft Action Plan

The Bibliographical Society's new web site went live on 21 May 2013. The site has been designed and implemented by Adaptive Technologies Ltd, in conjunction with the Society's Honorary Editor of Monographs, Dr David Shaw.
