Death of Anthony Hobson

It is with great regret that the Society announces the death of Dr Anthony Hobson. Dr Hobson (born 1921) was a former President of the Society (1977-1979) and was awarded the Society's Gold Medal in 1992. He passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 12 July.

Fellowship & Bursary Awards Announced

The list of fellowships and bursaries awards has now been posted on the Society's website. Projects awarded funding for 2013-2014 range from work on women's print history to an exploration of authorial colophons in late medieval manuscripts. The complete list of awards can be found here.

Society Opposes Proposed Sale of University of London Shakespeare Folios
